      Why? A lot of applications (like for example GNOME or KDE graphical interfaces) need OpenGL 2.1 to work.

        But as soon as etnaviv reaches 3.0, it could be added. But I wonder, are the etnaviv GPU capable of handling OpenGL 3.0 and higher?
        I don't know them very well, but it seems like small GPUs.
        It tracks the progress of 3.0 up so this is actually the perfect time, else the 3.0 breakdown is pointless.
