Intel should do a middle & top end graphics chipset, their drivers are making good progress I think they could compete with AMD/NVIDIA if they tried.

Their focus is in other markets like IoT recently, they care less about consumer PCs lately let alone high end gaming.

They have tried, and they failed. Maybe they'll keep on trying, but it's a much harder market to enter than a lot of people think.
