On 24.10 mesa fails to build on arm64 with llvm17, from next upload 24.10 mesa will build with llvm18.

From next upload arm64 will be disabled due to building being broken.

please oibaf , do not let down arm64. I have problems trying multiarch aarch64/armhf lately, probably due to the problems you refer. I cant have both like before. We need oibaf for gallium nine on box86/box64 emulator, do not let us down.

very few arm64 users actually use nvidia at all, only ampere uses it. so, just drop nvidia on arm64 althogether

the ppa is still using llvm17, but I'd like to use 18 soon.
What trouble do you mean with llvm18?
Now both oracular and noble build with llvm18 (using backported fixed version in the PPA for noble).
