    To be fair, it's not like Mesa has had such a good and reliable and robust caching system over the years either. I've solved multiple bugs and crashes by wiping out a corrupted shader cache in ~/.cache/mesa_shader_cache over the years.

    Actually many games nowadays provide "AMD fixes" for Windows Radeon users. Because UE5 is really broken. All they do - enable Vulkan and add bat file with "-vulkan" launch argument.

    This is the purpose of this extension. There is already pipeline cache that allows reusing pipelines but application has limited control over cache. This extension was created to bypass VkPipelineCache and let application manage cache directly.
