I wonder if the apparent slowdown / lag of KDE Plasma on Wayland while running on Intel integrated GPUs is because of a bug in Mesa or in KDE, as until now nobody has been able to figure it out.

KDE devs are always mad when people are able to voice their honest opinion on how terrible KDE Plasma actually is. I am a victim of Plasma too, and there is no single good word about it that comes to my mind.

So is F1 2015 and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, at least according to the current Mesa defaults with respect to glthread. There are probably more programs that will need either a patch or a workaround, we'll find out when Mesa 22.3 hits more distros.
