Ass power. Like Vistaus noted, it's an American unit of measurement. I'm sure you've heard of the commonly used "half-ass" for when someone is doing a crappy job, well, "whole-ass" is when they're doing a decent job. Across the pond they're a little too proper and specific so "whole-ass" became "single-arse". Other forms of ass power include dragging-ass and hauling-ass.

It should have actually been spelled "single-arse" in the article.
