    Rocm is indeed a solution, but its not a "solution to fit them all", as gfx8 requires pcie atomics, and maybe others too..
    Clover don't have that limitation,
    I compiled it myself and it works, but it needs some attention to also have storage support and so..

    So Clover could be for AMD, a solution to work on all hardware that Rocm doesn't run on..

    With both solutions AMD as covered all corners in OpenCL, having its user base satisfied
