    300 lines doesn't sound like that much even for a moderate cleanup. Either way, definitely welcome.

      Moving and renaming things is probably a good part of the cleanup. It's always nice to cleanly separate refactoring from feature work when you have the chance.

        It looks like it's mostly just moving code from common r600/si locations directly into radeonsi folders. Not much to see here.

          Yes, every 2nd entry of his 55 patches is something with "remove r600 reference" and the like. So this is conducting the announced better separation of the r600 vs. newer chips radeonsi stack.
          And the 300 lines less are a "net win", so there is probably still a lot of (janitory) work going on inside the code.
          Stop TCPA, stupid software patents and corrupt politicians!
