    Phoronix: Open-Source 3D Support For NVIDIA's Tegra

Last year was the landmark announcement of an open-source NVIDIA Tegra graphics driver for Linux that was developed with the support of NVIDIA. In late November, NVIDIA published open-source 2D acceleration support for their newer ARM SoCs. Today, 3D support is being announced for the open-source NVIDIA Tegra graphics driver.

Wow I stayed away from Tegra devices in the past because of nVidia's unfriendliness towards open source, this is great news if we can get ARM tablets with a decent graphical part and fully foss drivers.

It was working just for Tegra 2, the developer was asking if anyone wanted to test Tegra 3 hardware.

Did anybody already run tests on a Colibri Tegra module?

This would be easy exchangeable between Tegra 2 and 3.
