about communism:

that has nothing to do with china, they have classes they have as well as formal as also money-wise. But the most important for me is, they have a open work-market so they have unemployed people, in a good communism land they would rather let you come 8hours a day to look to the wall and go home then...

They Cuba and maybe some south-american countries are way more a communism, but even there at least in cuba things change to allow more market... to have a few people who are very rich and many people that are extremly poor is not communism, but then maybe no communism ever was there, but on the other hand there was never somewhere a clean capitalism...

But thats only as a side note...

to the topic some said they want the free drivers for reproducing the hardware, I am no expert but I heared here from experts that opensource drivers or specs about how you programm a hardware dont help you very much to build that hardware, if that would be not that case amd and intel woudl never had released the opensource drivers.

Well it's not pure profit. It still costs them money to produce the gpus.

China isn't even a communistic state, and even if it was, it would still be better to start a separate thread about this.

That is correct. They use on-board small GPUs for such processors.

I just want to say something about some false rumors against Loongson (mips). The L3C part has 16 cores, each of them has 2*512bit FMAC vectors for Float and another same length unit for Integer, thats bigger than Ivy Bridge and only with 20watt @2ghz. This is 512Gflops DP64bit, or 1Tflop SP64, or 2Tflops SP32, or 4Tops-32 (with Integer). Also has Emulation Instructions in order to accelerate Qemu, and Mips3D Instructions in order to accelerate Software Rasterizers like LLVMpipe. So I don't think that this processor, or another one from the new technologies that are in development, will have an AMD or another GPU, because they don't need one.

The public specsheets for Lemote's Loongson 3A-based notebook list an AMD RS780E + SB710 embeded chipset, which includes an ATI Radeon HD 3200 IGP. In any case they need hardware to turn framebuffers into signals that can drive a display, so the CPU alone can't replace a graphics card or IGP.
