What useless feature is next for the Linux kernel? Auto-updating your FB, IG, Snapchat, X, Telegram, and Mastodon status pages?

Perhaps an auto-post to Pintrest or Imgur when one of these eyechart error messages pops on screen?

NotMine999 I would not start suggesting network update stuff too much. There are already versions of lets send kpanics to network.

The most likely Linux kernel social support is not Mastodon but Akkoma. I could see for shared debugging of particular problems having kpanics auto log to the Linux kernel Akkoma in fact make sense.

Its improvement over the system just coming non responsive.

Ah yes, the useless feature ( that is optional and can be turned off ) that allows people to quickly share entire stack traces without having to send crappy pictures or hand copies of it. How useless. /sarc

In a not too distant future Linux will turn these cumbersome task-bar messages into easy-to-read QR-codes

That's right, they should learn how to debug kernel and parse logs instead of getting easy way to share their error and get help in fixing it. Do you remember when we used to write our own drivers in the good old times? Yeah, people are lazy nowadays. /s
