    There definitely were a handful of Windows trolls on here, but I think they either haven't been active or just cooled their rhetoric in the past couple years.

    Anyway, it's definitely not relevant to the subject at hand. Windows is nonexistent in IoT and scarce in most other domains where serious deep learning users play.

      Exactly my point. They CAN do proper drivers when they need them, but they decide to keep their legacy blob around just to make life a bit harder. I don't see it being such a big of an investment, but sure others might see it as an investment for irrelevant market anyway.
