  • Radeon R7 370 cards

Does anyone know when these cards which I have will receive OpenGL v4.0 or 4.5? According to steam mine is at 3.0.

Use Oibaf ppa Mesa dev, then your OpenGL version should be 4.5. check with:
    Code:
    xfce@ryzen5pc:~$ inxi -bM
    OpenGL: renderer: Radeon RX 560 Series (POLARIS11 / DRM 3.23.0 / 4.15.0-rc2+, LLVM 5.0.1)
    version: 4.5 Mesa 17.4.0-devel
And how to get this on Arch Linux? Is it in AUR?

You are a bit arrogant to claim that I'm an internet newbie and a beginner! I'm no way an internet newbie I already knew the mesa dev was in the user repository I did an advanced search though you didn't stated in that previous post how to get that particular version. Also I'm not prepared to install the -git version and prefer to have it by default from the "official" repository. Careful what you say in the future to me DebianXFCE!

Similar for this for arch linux :https://launchpad.net/~oibaf/+archiv...aphics-drivers
        is this: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/mesa-git/

So what are you whining. You really are a beginner, did not even know what kind of a gpu you have and could not find the freedesktop radeonfeature page by yourself.
Piss off shithead! I'm not whining nor am I a beginner and will maintain that.

It's been supported for a while. That chip is supported via the radeonsi driver:
Show Mesa progress for the OpenGL, OpenGL ES, Vulkan and OpenCL drivers implementations into an easy to read HTML page.

Take a look at the core profile output of glxinfo.
