Yes, it's related to the MRT optimizations that were discussed here before.

This is the stuff I figured out for making the vulkan demo catch up to amdgpu-pro, thankfully Marek had time to actually make it work in all the places it could. No idea if it will have much real world effects, but it certainly seems to help memory bandwidth.
