  • How do x2 cards (gcn 1.1) perform with OS drivers?

    On this page:

it is mentioned crossfire (multi-card) is not supported.
Should I assumed that card with 2 gpu dies (like amd 295 with 2 Hawaii chips) offer twice or close to twice the performance of the card with only 1 equivalent chip?

I'm specifically interested in this card:

    This is correct.

How come you ignore the aforementioned fact?

well because if they say 'multicard' it means to me more than one card.
2 gpu on the same card, are still one card with 2 chips.

Crossfire is obviously made with more gpu's, if who wrote the x.org page intended to include also single cards with 2 gpus, he didn't to specify anything.

This 'one card' is just two cards fitted on one PCB, connected with a PCIe bridge.
