Bulk of laptops around are still using 9xx because NVIDIA GTX 1050 (mobile) is high-midrange and pretty new, and there it's still random rebranded crap.

You get 4W for a GTX1050 or 5W for a GTX1060.

Still too much for a laptop when the Intel iGPU consumes like 1 Watt in idle and even at full throttle does not really go much more.

But as I said we are getting there, next year or so we will start getting where you said, and in another year or so we will start getting mainstream laptops with that.
