DAL is already integrated to the 4.7 kernel:

it is not 4.7 kernel, it is amd staging branch

Did you enable it in config? If not make menuconfig / whatever go to drivers -> graphics support -> display engine configuration and say "y" to everything

Yes, of course, I have enabled it. But even without the kernel should boot at least…

I've been using your copr (plus the polaris-gfx one) with my RX480, and it has been working wonderfully, including audio.

Just to avoid any misunderstandings... the amd-staging-4.7 tree is an internal development tree which contains latest amdgpu code on top of a 4.7 release kernel... so the driver code in amd-staging-4.7 is definitely not the same as what you would find in the 4.7 kernel.

Debian Testing is also for testing... but debianxfce uses it as something else, so LEGO seems prevail
