  • As you expected, the kernel 4.7.10-20161021.amd.fc24.x86_64 is the one who break my HDMI audio.

Good to hear we narrowed it down.

As I mentioned previously, I would recommend posting on the mailing list:

And say one of these commits broke audio for you and let them know that you're using Fedora 24 with an Rx470:

      https://cgit.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/...39e1e568d39d43

I can make 20161020, 20161019 and 20161018 builds if they need you to narrow it down further. Although, it's likely one of the DAL updates made on the 21st.

As well, I'll be making a build tonight based on the latest code, just in case I broke something, but I don't believe this is the case.

      • I will do this asap. That said, there is so much commit on the 21th, they will want me to bisect for sure.

        • I'm getting some pretty serious hard lock ups on my Fury Nano the last 3 builds, usually at login. Sometimes it gets through, sometimes not

            As of 20161027?
It could be one of these commits:

Not to sound like a broken record, but I would suggest reporting it to https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/amd-gfx, as I work on this in my free time and I can't reproduce it on my personal card. Plus, I'm not sure QA would let me borrow cards for extracurricular projects

            • Mystro256 Since Fedora 25 isn't on the newest Mesa, and there are many cool features hitting Mesa git these days, will you update your copr for F25?

                Already done, I've had F24 and F25 builds of Mesa 13.0 + LLVM 3.9 for a while:

EDIT: Radv Vulkan too, but I have yet to actually test it, been busy at work (install the vulkan subpackage to use it)

Awesome. Then I can upgrade to F25, and start testing! Thanks!

And of course after the upgrade, not a single one of my games in Steam runs lol. Oh well.

I am running F25 and it's all good. Vulkan works on Talos and Dota2.

Now if AMD staging could just rebase to kernel 4.8, we'd really be all set for F25
