    Vega is planned for H1 2017, not Q1 2017. I think we will have the code out in time.

    And yes, we have already started working on Navi.

      With blob most likely yes, with opensource driver maybe or depends how you look at that... since support depends on several components whose releases are not in sync so it won't be in sync with hardware release, blah, blah

      Asking because I would very much like Debian 9/Stretch support, which I heard will most likely have kernel 4.10.
      Potentionaly easiest for Vega on Debian 9 Stable users next year would be to use amdgpu-pro, of course if AMD release something like that for Debian 9 at least unofficialy as non-free repo is unofficial too

      But even that Debian 9 isn't stable nor released yet, might be releasd even in the same time as Vega or even later who can predict that... as always - quando paratus est
