  • 780G integrated video & Mythtv

Hi, I'm reasonably sure I know the answer to this, but not totally:

Is the AMD 780g on-board video strong enough to display the mythTV frontend without lag between keypresses? I would think so, but I'm not sure. I also believe that the open-source driver is fast enough, but everyone just talks about the driver working with Compiz, so I'm not sure here either.

    Thanks everybody!

I think the radeonhd driver isn't fast enough yet. The FGLRX should do it.
The radeon driver is also capable of this, but I think you cannot use that driver with the 780G?

Both radeon and radeonhd support the 780G, however, neither supports any acceleration at the moment.
