Expected 8.4 features

What are the expected features of fglrx 8.4? Do you think the delay it's been taking could it means major bugfixes?

i think the hype is low these days, i expect none from this release.

i'll be lucky if fglrx gain more frames in my old x200 and less diaginal tearing.

Well im still optimistic, hoping for crossfire(why not), and/or at least one of the gpu's of my 3870x2 to be detected.

Amd is very versatile, I have no doubt that they will surpass Nvidia drivers. How soon that will be, only time will tell. Just expect better things from AMD Guys.

Well, I would be very happy with a driver that actually works for a change.

The last working driver for my X1950 AGP was 8.42 (I think).

I would be glad if the Java OpenGL pipeline worked again. It had worked since 8.24.10 and stopped working with the 8.42.3 release. And my Radeon X1800's fan is running at full speed all the time. Unfortunatley, neither aticonfig nor atipower could help...
