Seems like that one varied between OEMs, some had 64bit memory > awfull performance

There was also HD 8510 rebrend not listed on that wikipedia article, seems to be also redwood with no exact known capabilities probably again as bridgman says with unknown but usually awfull memory perf

He also mentioned an intel core duo so it could be this one

Regular HD6510 specs seemed to be an interesting card on it's own.

    Code:
    https://launchpad.net/~paulo-miguel-dias/+archive/ubuntu/mesa
the problem could be Intel P state, How can I enable?

I'm playing at 1080p, medium or hight settings and the game shows 30-40fps.

this benchmark shows almost 80fps at 2560x1600

    What I'm doing wrong?
The CPU that you have is also a critical factor in determining what your performance will be. In the bench it's the Intel i7-5960X whicha brand new, top-of-the-line CPU just over $1000 USD.

Also, what's the cooler on your 290? I have the reference cooler myself.

    i do agree with that
using dual channel ram made a world of difference, did not notice much from the performance settings, but i did it none the less
i did not realize that dual channel ram made that much of a difference
thanks for helping my get that straighted out

    usually when someone needs a low/tight budget gaming system i suggest a A10 (best within budget) and 8gb ddr3 1866 2 x 4
that was the 1st time i tried a single stick in a apu system
