radeonsi looks more and more appealing. The only missing part is the proper support of runpm on my laptop.
- and (hybrid) crossfire support
- linux mantle support
- OpenGL 4.4
- for the R series true audio support (does someone know if this is planned / work in progress?)
- official SteamOS support replacing catalyst!
- a bit more optimization / performance
and a nice gui (extending radeonprofile) with:
- overclocking / fan control
- different game profiles
- 75 hz support (but I think thats up to mesa or the KDE monitor config tool)
- full color / video settings
- what did I forget?
wishful thinking ... however... so far so GOOOD guys! Keep it going! Big thanks to the Devs out there!

yeah I forgot some:
- frame pacing (when using crossfire)
- proper 4k support - does anyone know the state of this? Michaels test back in november dealt only with proprietary drivers.
- software eyefinity for gaming (not hardware eyefinity for connecting 6 monitors for extended desktop, but the thing where the OS believes that there is only one display with the combined resolution and lets the game render with that, described here: http://www.amd.com/de/products/techn...ages/faqs.aspx)
I do have xserver crash and not only with mpeg2 decoding, but also h264 HD videos.
Not reported them yet just because I don't have time to investigate.
maybe just because some people didn't have this issue or didn't know about it.
i don't run into xorg crashes and uvd always works for all my movie stuff.
maybe i'm so lucky lucky lucky or AMD loves me more
