started a topic what is HD 7310 & status of support on linux

what is HD 7310 & status of support on linux

    around a year ago i ahve purchased dell c850d-m5010 which contians HD 7310 [ EM1200GBB22GV ]

    both the amd [ http://www.amd.com/us/press-releases...2012june5.aspx ] & wikipedia [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...icroprocessors ] pages list it as a Brazos2.0.
i have read somewhere that it belongs to southern islands. [ forgive for my weak memory ].

i am completly new to cpu/gpu/apus.
where can i find more information about the chip ?

there is a lot of noise about linux amd drivers.
again, where can i find the information about the status & updates for linux. i mean i want to try new & latest kernels if any new features are added.

i am currently using open source drivers on debian sid.

thank you for reading my post patiently.

    regards,
    wardhan.
