Linux kernel 3.12-rc4 doesn't include the Radeon DRM patches. You are looking for 3.12-rc5.

3.12-rc5 still "Average: 121.07 Frames Per Second"

And with Ultimate settings:

3.11.4: "Average: 86.57 Frames Per Second"
3.12-rc5: "Average: 85.85 Frames Per Second"

But maybe the 4,1 Ghz AMD is just too slow
