    PTS long has had support for image quality comparisons - http://www.phoronix.com/vr.php?view=14380 - but it's a weakness of the particular game itself if it doesn't offer proper support for reliable image screenshots.

      Using that same argument you could logically argue to get rid of the charts completely and just use the text only in articles. At least then it would actually be reporting the correct information.
