  • r600g and wine

    well using today git OSS graphic stack + wine 1.3.24 + float texture(here we don't give a damn about US patents) + s3tc, i got running

    * civilization 5 dx9 run playable until you get lots of units in the map, is not an snapshot but it get noticeable slower in load the textures
    * CoD WoW, al most playable perfectly rendered
    * Assasin Creed Brotherhood is almost playable too fps speaking perfectly rendered
    * Lineage2 Hi5 (2011 update) 100% playable so far
    * civilization 4 100% playable so far

    on linux native
    * the ovbious nexuiz and openarena
    * savages2 latest client 100% playable
    * 0AD 100% playable
    * unigine sanctuary 1366x768 all high and all option checked in render at 14fps !not bad perfectly rendered

    Thanks for the heads numbers, I should really think about re-building my r600 drivers .

    Do you think it would be possible to add some of these to PTS? Like that we can keep a better track on evolutions?

        I still get "Failed to detect a supported video card" on Dragon Age and Mass Effect

        Also a strange 'mosaic' type rendering problem with Live For Speed and Enemy Territory (native):
