    11.4 doesn't work for me with gnome 3. Neither do the Gallium drivers (system info shows Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe).
    How do I use the correct drivers in Fedora 15, so that I can use the gnome-shell?

    Still can't switch to my hd5650, it only recognizes the integrated hd4200 (notebook)

    Well, maybe attach a screenshot. Also why "radeonhd" driver? Basically radeonhd is dead, only radeon is used now...

    Anyone have experience on how well PowerXpress works for 11.4 on a PowerXpress-capable notebook? Since Nvidia still isn't doing Optimus on Linux, I may need to consider AMD for next notebook purchase.

    Here is the bug report: http://ati.cchtml.com/show_bug.cgi?id=99

    Too bad about catalyst not supporting gnome3 properly.

    hm no, I'm probably wrong there. Just found two short reports of users where it works with proprietary NVIDIA drivers.

    $ fglrxinfo
    display: :0.0 screen: 0

    OpenGL renderer string: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

    yes but I used gnome shell + Catalyst driver shortly. There is a option below System Settings-> Sytem info to enable fallback mode even with 3D acceleration.
