    I don't like where the discussion is heading. I am pretty sure they wouldn't ignore it. If nothing changes, you might be able to see those patented features only in a separate branch as it is now.

    I thought there was recently a posting on the mailing list that said it would be fine as long as it was hidden behind a config switch. Was that shot down privately by others?
