    Unless I forgot about it, I don't get how I've never heard of I3C until now, despite it being ratified 8 years ago. Though, it seems like it hasn't really been made common since the last 4 years.
    In any case, kind of odd it took Epyc this long to get this support.

      Oh no! He said "slave"! So many people will now feel oppressed and stop working on the kernel... Honestly, I've been laughing at how crazy the "micro aggression" people are. While "slave" nomenclature should probably be replaced with something more obvious, "master" is perfectly acceptable in a lot of cases (master shut-off, master switch, etc.) to denote a principal/primary device/bus/service.
