I have to disagree? Who do you think is going to backport AV1 stuff to JXL? Plus as you said some of the SVT-AV1-PSY ideas come directly from JXL so these cannot be ported back since they're already there. I have to add that "JXL could too" is hardly a good enough argument to justify its adoption. AV1's adoption is already wide, and steadily growing.
