In Xorg.0.log for both -ati and -radeonhd I get:
Using a slackware -current which has dri2proto-2.0 if that is relevant.
Is dri2 needed for 3d acceleration?
Is this something that should be working with recent gits of drm/mesa/xf86-video-ati for the hd3200?
By the way: radeonhd gives same message for dri. Maybe this is why glxinfo works with radeonhd while -ati locks.
Code:
(II) AIGLX: Screen 0 is not DRI2 capable
