    AMD, please, give consumers a card with SR-IOV, please! That is why I was hoping for Intel to shake things up, but unfortunately it is not going well...

              It's just a hardware block on the chip - GFX (shader core), SDMA, VCN, IH, GMC, DCE, ATHUB, MMHUB, HDP and DF are examples.

                the problem is the number of instances if they could limit SR-IOV to 2 instances this would possible but right now the chips are all or nothing.
                means 32 instances or nothing...

                i also would like to see SR-IOV in desktop products... google works on a complete software solution to this in vulkan maybe after this the companies like amd see that this makes no sense anymore if you get the same result in a software implemenation...
