    They can advertise it, but it will never work. Just look at OpenCL.
    We have still the flicker phenomenon in desktop
    I am on radeonsi, and my desktop is flickering a lot, depending of the colour of the background..
    with black background there are no flickering, but with I have played with lots of colours and its a mess..

    Is there any kernel parameter that we can pass to solve this?
    other than that , yes I start with big letters on boot, but that is temporary, flickering is permanent when using the desktop ..

    I suspect it is not honouring the 60Hz refresh frequency..

      Maybe it is about Samsung's QDOLED. It uses blue OLED as a backlight.
