Back in April we wrote about the AMDVLK 2021.Q2.2 Vulkan driver update for Radeon Linux systems while as some driver deja vu this driver version with the same changes have been re-released...

I thought that for sure this version would include some Vulkan ray-tracing extensions, but it seems not...
So disappointing !

Hey, you missed a very interesting Linux driver. SimpleKMS/SimpleDRM (since it's under gpu/drm/tiny/ it appears to not be the same as the older SimpleDRM driver from years ago, just the same name, but I could be wrong)

Nice. I very rearly use AMDVLK (like once per year), but I appreciate it being reasonably frequently updated, bugs being fixed and new features added.

Still, hoping for ray-tracing support this year in AMDVLK
