        Yes, the ANV driver is for Intel hardware and Intel employees support it in the open.

        Historically I was thinking of the original Valve + LunarG effort to develop a vulkan driver prior to the 1.0 specification being released. At the moment I'm blanking if that turned in to ANV, or if it was supplanted by Intel's own code.
