        Except that android and desktop linux are very different things. Marketshare on android doesn't mean anything about marketshare for desktop linux. Nothing at all.

            Android uses a modified subset of the linux kernel and -NOTHING- else. Which makes it just as good as proprietary. It is -NOT- the same. That is NOT the subject of this thread.
