Hell if I know. I've never really looked into Apple user gaming numbers. All I know is they have a much larger market share than Linux

Android uses a modified subset of the linux kernel and -NOTHING- else. Which makes it just as good as proprietary. It is -NOT- the same. That is NOT the subject of this thread.
