Sorry, I have to disagree from my personal experience.

Yeah, and my personal experience is that people don't notice if they are straining their eyes (or use wrong posture or whatever) and notice only years down the line.

I have this "gift" that I'm instantly uncomfortable if something is like that.

Why are not at least some manufacturers offering a high-res option?

I'm not against options, it was just a comment from an armchair physician on the internet.
