    Does this mean, buffers are now zeroed, before been reused?

      Also interesting:
      As of September, I'm no longer working for AMD but for Red Hat's
      graphics infrastructure team. I'm hoping that someone from my former
      team at AMD will step up to maintain this driver.
      Oh. Well, then let's wish Michel a good time at RH (seems to be kindof the same profession anyway) and that his place will be filled by a new face, preferably someone skilled from the community who could use a job or something.
      Stop TCPA, stupid software patents and corrupt politicians!

        I wonder what he'll be doing at RH, Michael has always been so helpful with amd bugs, I hope he'll still be facing us.

          No, this just makes sure the client always sees the same buffer contents as the server itself does.
