  • Is it possible to get proprietary AMD GPU drivers installed on Manjaro?

As the subject says. I love Manjaro but the Opensource drivers just suck compared to the proprietary drivers and NO I'm couldn't care less for games. I'm talking about running apps like Darktable, Davinci Resolve and other apps. If I wanted to game - I've learnt to just stick with Windows. As it's just a hit and miss on Linux.

Is there a specific reason why MWHD can't install them?

    You can try ROCm: https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?pa...-rocm-20&num=1

        I have installed the following
        opencl-amd, rocm-clang-ocl, rocm-cmake-git, rocm-utils, rocminfo, rocr-runtime, roct-thunk-interface, opencl-mesa, opencl-headers.

I can't seem to get rocm-opencl-runtime compiled though. I have tried with both yay and yaourt.

Also this is a concern https://github.com/RadeonOpenCompute/ROCm/issues/768. Which is why I'm pleading for a way to get the prop drivers installed.
