Would be nice if folding@home worked at some point.

Does it work with Blender? OpenCL is AMDs biggest pitfall. I will never get why a company that is that big is not able to get OpenCL 1.2 and greater into Mesa?!

I didn't believe my eyes but dkms kernel module compiled fine with latest 5.0.7 kernel on my system! Finally!

          repo init -u https://github.com/RadeonOpenCompute/ROCm.git -b roc-2.3.0
          ^^ does not work.
I guess we have to wait longer ...

Looks like the roc-2.3.0 branch at the top level had not been created yet (apparently my earlier comment about using master was incorrect).

The roc-2.3.0 branch has now been added so repo init should work, but a bit more effort is required before the top level sync will work fully since the llvm and lld projects were each split into two parts in the 2.3 release.

UPDATE Monday Apr 15 @ 5pm - should be good to go now.

I edited my previous post with latest information - mostly fixed but some work still required for llvm and lld. Thanks for pointing this out.
