I hope that by version 5.2 the black screen flickering, that occurs during games in freesync mode on my Benq EX3203R Freesync 2 monitor, will be fixed. I'm on a vega 64 and kubuntu 19.04 with kernel 5.1 and oibaf ppa mesa drivers. The VRR feature works, it just gets black screens every 3 seconds or when i move in game.

In addition to the pre-existing bugs I now see lots of messages saying:
      ...
[ 406.553195] [TTM] Erroneous page count. Leaking pages.
[ 406.553196] [TTM] Erroneous page count. Leaking pages.
[ 406.553196] [TTM] Erroneous page count. Leaking pages.
      ...
scrolling through from "dmesg -w". (And that is on a blank X11 display with just "xclock" and an idle "xterm".)

So bulk moves are still not coming in 5.2?

Use the AMD wip kernel and Padoka ppa mesa git with llvm 9. Bugs are fixed in those.

Already fixed in 'amd-staging-drm-next' with commit

drm/ttm: fix incrementing the page pointer for huge pages
When we increment the counter we need to increment the pointer as well.
            https://cgit.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/...40dee4f273cec5

Try it on top of 5.2.

Even GPU reset fix coming soon (one patch was lost during older merge).
[PATCH 4/4] drm/amd/display: Restore deleted patch to resolve reset deadlock.

Sometimes I wonder if debianxfce is just a bot.

It is a fact that the AMD wip kernel and Padoka ppa mesa git have latest AMD GPU driver bug fixes and features. See:

                  I did not contest this.
