leonmaxx how confident are you that this laptop will run Fedora 29 flawlessly?

I'm also looking for a laptop that work out of the box with Linux (I tried System but I had hardware quality issues )

I hope Michael announces it here. I would drop 50€ or so.

Some Patreon can also be a good idea.

            He, he

FWIW, no FreeSync capable monitor is needed for testing this patch. All that's needed is verifying that starting an app hits amdgpu_vrr_property_update with the variable_refresh parameter set to TRUE in Xorg. In that case, VRR can be enabled while the app's window uses page flipping.

BTW, W9S also have FreeSync enabled:

Two tested it, so that is probably enough

The chances are pretty good, actually. Assuming CPU issues can be dealt with via a BIOS update, the only other problems seem to be wireless and the webcam. I tracked down the wireless to RTL8821AE which definitely has a driver in the latest F28 kernel, but didn't find anything about the webcam (although there's a decent chance it's just UVC).

                      Cool

BTW, for radv they are confirming it working now with v2 strlen instead of sizeof... so that is probably it, working everywhere
