Can you explain to me- or give me some links about- how this hardware link negotiation works in AMD graphics cards?
The code in question is in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/display in the kernel.

    Hello!

Is it possible to change these options running Linux?

If I change these settings with AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition are they saved permanently?

    TIA,
    Heiko.
