Any chance of next time you do a performance comparison of AMDVLK vs RADV throwing in a DXVK title?

Just Cause 3 is unplayable at 4K resolution with AMDVLK while it runs fine with RADV. The ground texture is flickering a bit but windows users have the same problem. Tested with Asus RX570 4GB and Ryzen 5 1600. AMD should use AMDVLK resources to kernel and Mesa development but will not happen. Their resource management is poor.

Did you find a workaround to start the game? It is borked as far as I know https://www.protondb.com/app/225540

Use wine-staging and dxvk, it supports more games and the single ~/.wine folder is easier to manage. The store page of windows Steam client does not work, so install games with:
            wine Steam.exe -applaunch AppId
