      Just wondering - the AMD True Audio thing back on some AMD Radeon R9 2xx models never really came to linux, right? And the successor, True Audio Next, lists only Windows. Not that the benefit looked too overwhelming ...

        Sadly even on Windows, it lost attention quickly a week after its initial presentation.

          But now TrueAudio is included in SteamAudio and further development is possible. Especially TrueAudio module could be used to reduce the audio load for user tasks.
