Phoronix: RadeonSI Compute Shaders Now Supported By The Mesa Shader Cache

While the RadeonSI Gallium3D driver has supported a shader cache going back to early 2017 for helping out Linux game load times and performance, OpenGL compute shaders up to now were not handled by this shader cache...

Most games ported over from Dx11 use compute shaders in one way or another. But the thing with compute shaders is that you usually have a few dozen compute shaders per game at most, but often thousands of vertex and fragment shaders. It's not a bad thing to have them cached but it's not going to make a massive difference in real-world games.
