    With the upcoming Linux 4.17 kernel cycle there is initial support for Radeon Wattman with the AMDGPU kernel driver and modern Radeon graphics processors. "Automan" is now the latest being worked on for Vega GPUs...

      It's available in out-of-tree patches (for xorg and stuff) + in AMDGPU-PRO.

        Enjoyed free-sync for over 4mth + now , which is when I got the card (rx64
        I know AMD staging 4.14 and up has worked, don't know about earlier kernels in the staging branch though.

          Is Freesync actually hooked up properly with the open source driver? I didn't think it had been yet.
