Great to hear System76 is contributing. I hope they do the same with AMD if / when they start carrying Polaris based laptops.

System76 are right to be collaborating with Nvidia; the only company to create good graphics drivers. Regardless of effort, Nouveau will never be able to work as well as a native driver. It's time to let ideology go and be pragmatic.

Linux AMDGPU on open source MESA is growing incredibly fast this year.

Infact, AMD RX 480 graphics are so good my Linux friends IRL are switching from their GTX 650 and GTX 970 to RX 480 in the near future.

You may have not been aware that AMD was doing so well, so please update your understanding - Nvidia are not the king they once were.
