    Don't put words in my mouth. Anyone can fork the code, can't they? As for the community, you can't ignore the pivotal role AMD has played in the open source community with their code/docs and hiring of student developers. I think AMD's doing it right for what they have to work with.
    Don't mistake me for an AMD fanboy either. I actually just bought a GTX950. I want to switch to the nouveau driver eventually and if it doesn't work out, I'm going to go AMD next time regardless of performance/Watt.
